I'm going to say Andrew Trimble.

I'd have to say Stephen Ferris...i think he has been the cornerstone of everything ulster have done this season and has all the attributes to make this 6N his own

I'm gonna go ahead and say Rob Kearney

    Wesley Fofana.

if i look outside of ireland id say this could be maybe robshaws tournament to at least put his hand up as long term captain prospect and maybe shane williams replacement could be found so there could be another potential big tournament for g. north

    Trimble or Ferris.

I'd say France will win the slam so it'll likely be one of their players, surely one can't look past Dusautoir!

richie gray or ........................Owen farrell:rolleyes: to british media

For Ireland I think Trimble will have a good tournament - hopefully really nail down that wing spot. I'd be hoping Sexton finally puts in some of the consistently excellent performances he is capable of.

Outside Ireland it will be interesting to see how Richie Gray does now he's more of a marked man.

I think Healy is going to be great this 6n.

I think it'll be a French Man. Hard to look past someone like dusautoir...

For Ireland, probably Ferris or Heaslip. Both massive players during the world cup. Wouldn't say Trimble tbh, he's great though.

Cuthbert, the Welsh winger, has looked good for Cardiff when I've seen him. I think he could do well in the 6 Nations.

Of Ireland, I'd say either Ferris, or hopefully Sexton. Sexton has been a lot better than most people would suggest at international level, but he needs a spectacular tournament to announce himself as the world class player that he is (I'd have him in top five tens in the world).

Dussitoir, O'Brien, Warburton all contenders too.

Wildcard player, Tuilagi. If England have a big tournament, he could be the star.

Pick one, and it's tainted by hopefullness, but I'm going for Sexton.

Sexton to finally deliver for Ireland

Trinh-Duc for me. Think France will win the Slam.

I'd have him top 2. Probably our best player with BOD out.

Trimble... definately will add another dimension , been round long enough to nail his opportunity this time.

If Tim visser had moved to scotalnd a few months earlier and played for scotland I would have said him, he's in great form and a try scoring machine, it's a pity he has to wait till the summer tour, and would have been easier to get used to international rugby with the six nations than traveling down south.

I''m going for o'brien or ferris.

I think France will win the 6N but Ferris will blow everyone away.

Sexton has a chance if he hits his stride immediately.

If Ferris will blow everyone away including the French then Ireland will win 6 nations. I hope so anyway.

I think Ferris will be brilliant against the French but I think they'll beat us. Sadly.

I'm not so sure, we have been and lost to France in Paris one to many times and we are getting closer, take for example last years 6 nations France only won by 3 points... known our luck we'd beat them (at home) and go on to lose to Scotland

    David Strettle.

It depends on the winners: it's rare for a losing player to be remembered as the performer of the year. I suspect it'll be one of Jonathan Sexton, Jamie Heaslip, Thierry Dusatoir, Francois Trinh-Duc, Owen Farrell and Sam Warburton.

    Morgan Parra.

Vinny Clarke of the Toulouse Clarkes to win overall but Kearney to have a big tournament for us. Coming right back into form in recent months and his try scoring record has been very impressive from 15 for Leinster. If he's used as a big strike runner in the same way he'll catch the eye.

i think Malzieu is going to score a rake load of trys, starting today, himself Medard & Trin Duc to make a mockery of the last france WC selections.

    backs - Trinh-duc
    forwards - Picamoles
