forgot phone number and pin

the kid's have a couple of cheap tesco mobiles

if they forgot number and pin and the phone requests the puk code

can they just get free replacement sim's off tesco??

all the paperwork boxes etc is gone also:)

Why not just request the PUK off Tesco? If you registered the devices they'll be able to give it to you.

They can tell you the puk code from the sim, its not related to the phone itself

PUK1 and PIN1 may be printed on sim.

tesco can provide you with the number, pin and puk if you call them up with the sim card number. you will need to be the registered owner on the account or answer alternative security questions if it is not registered (usually last topup, recent dialled numbers, etc).
