    I was out in Kinsealy last night trying out the new Ping i20 and a lady was at the desk signing people up for a new golf deals site that has been launched (unlike that other one that was on here a couple of months ago and never actually saw the light of day).

    I checked it out last night and it seems to be legit.

    Lol @ Fota promoting itself as 3 championship courses, what a con job.
    It's 1 championship course and an awful new 9 holes.
    How they can get away with taking money off oversea visitors who have come to play an Irish open venue only to be lamped with that Dodawful new 9 is beyond me.
    For shame on them.

    Thats harsh IMO Jul 3 s , Whilst I do prefer to play Fotas original 18 holes , I think the " new " 9 have come on very nicely in the last few years. The greens have married well and all 27 holes are consistant. The new 9 are longer and a challenge but I certainly would nt call them awful . Nothing beats the atmosphere of the old course but I think its a treat to play any of the 3 nines there.

    They're awful imo in so far as the new 9 bares no resemblance to the original 18 whatsoever, they are like day and night. The new 9 are dull and bland and set in a wide open landscape with no water features, while the original 18 is set in beautiful mature woodland witch has magnificent water features.
    When they were making the new 9, they should have gone the whole hog and built 18, or not bother at all ,because mixing the new 9 with the orginal holes does not work imo and never will.
