Hadn't seen this posted already, so I thought I'd share a bit of info- I was in BT this afternoon and the Omega Boutique is gone- replaced with some shop selling leathergoods and scarves and such- tbh I didnt really notice what exactly.
Does that leave Weirs as the only place in Dublin that sells Omega?

    Noticed that too this week.

I guess that means it's Weir's only for brand new.

If you were going to buy an Omega, would you go to Weir's and get something off the price or get it in the Boutique and be refused any discount?

    No-brainer.

No, Sheerans lost/gave up the dealership when the Boutique in BT opened. They still have a few in stock though. I imagine it's lean times for jewellers alright.

    thats amazing
last time I was in Sherrans I seen alot of omega, and now that I think of it they looked discounted.
    thanks for the update.

Ireland certainly is not that attractive for watches brands,
VC gone last year, AP gone, the omega boutique, I can t see Cartier staying or panerai.

That is a pity but to be honest this stuff can be bought much cheaper abroad. I've noticed that watches in Spain on mid range watches can be between €500-€1000 cheaper than watches in Dublin. Cheap AR flight and you can make significant savings.

The main problem was that they were the most expensive place by far to buy an Omega. In the same way that Sony Centre is the most expensive place for Sony products. Makes no sense really.

Hardly surprising, never seen anybody in there. Staff always seem startled someone walked in.

Their service centre was at 14-16 Lord Edward St (Swatch Group).
Is it still there,or have they up and left the country completley ?

    Edit

This....also there was 3 staff there one day in the January sales.
It could barely fit 3 customers let alone 3 staff.
