Cost of fixing electrics in a Skoda?

    Hi,

The central locking and automatic windows are acting up in a friend's car. It's a Skoda Fabia. When she gets out of the car, for instance, the doors almost always automatically lock. If she leaves her keys in the driver's door lock, the passenger window usually opens, and so on. Last week she left the keys in the ignition while she filled up with petrol and the car was locked when she went into the car to get her purse.

What sort of money would she expect to pay to solve this? She went to the local garage and they said they'd have to get an electrics person in but she doesn't want to do that until she has an idea of the cost.

I think the manual locking is something that was standard. Caught many people out.

The window would be best taken to an autoelectrician or I can move this to DIY if that's what you want?
