Hi all, looking for some recommendations on a good printer that doesn't cost a bomb to run.
Work in an office that prints an a4 newsletter every week (double sided), about 300 copies. We also have booklets to print every now and then.
We currently have an OKI 5600 and we seem to be replacing the toner, drums etc very regularly.
    Thanks in advance!

You need to go with something that can print a bigger volume of pages, HP Laserjet for example, and you can keep the cost of the ink down.

You'll pay more for the initial printer but over its lifetime you'll make a killing on the ink (make sure you know if it needs print heads, normally need to change once for every two ink changes) ..... ask about fuser kits, transfer kits, rollers etc. and when you are likely to need to change them

All in all, the bigger printer is cheaper over its lifetime (and its lifetime is longer as well, 10,000 pages compared to 500,000 pages)

Thanks so much for all that info. Good to have a list of things to ask about when buying!
