With the Superbowl fast approaching (GO GIANTS!), I've been rummaging through my favourite gridiron games to get me in the mood for a bit of Red 42, 68, 97, divided by 4 carry the one to the square root of 57! HUP HUP! on Sunday.

You can keep your Madden games. My favourite American football game is:

Many fond memories of this awesome game. It's still hugely playable even today. :)

    American football? God no.

I guess living over that side of the pond for so long I really got in to it. If you watch it regularly it becomes more enjoyable once you understand the rules a bit more. At least that's how I see it anyway.

4th & Inches is a legendary game. It still plays really well considering it's age and hoe basic it is.

Apparently, Johnny Ultimate is a massive fan of American Football

    It's better than cricket!

I've followed American football off and on since the mid-80's. Picked teams out of a hat at school to see who our favourite teams would be. I picked the New York Giants so I've followed them ever since really.

Yeah it seems massive in the states...but then again, like Bulgarians, they have very simple tastes :p

You used to be able to buy the team helmets back when I was a kid. Not sure if they came with chewing gum or what but they were pretty cool looking. I'd watch a few minutes of the super bowl these days but wouldn't bother with normal matches.

Yeah, American sports, terrible simplistic stat fests one and all.
Then again I have little love for any sports at all....

I played a bit of Mutant League Football back in college!

Was obsessed with NFL Quarterback Club '98 on the N64. I love sports in general and had a great time going to Baseball/Hockey/Basketball games when living in Boston...didn't get to a Patriots game unfortunately!

Earlier today in a meeting at work, the clock on the wall started going really fast, then stopped, went backwards and then normal again.

    Many eyebrows raised.

I was obviously transported to some kind of Bizarro World.

I've a few mates over to watch it on Sunday , wouldn't be massively pushed but staying up and drinking loads of beers never needs an excuse.
May dig up the maddens games as well before hand.
I wouldn't mind seeing the patriots win , as I've a few mates who live in that neck of the woods and I've been there a few times.

That is ominous, I just watched Prime this morning!!
And I understood a good 80% of it!
