    Be careful buying anything from Carphone Warehouse. If you have a problem with your phone you'll get no service, help or customer care from them.

    Bit of a generalisation in fairness. Like all networks/chains it varies from store to store, just depends who your dealing with.

    They have their own returns policy which is different from any independent or network owned store. They'll more or less refuse to exchange a faulty phone in the first month.

    No, I'm afraid not in this case. If you do a search on Boards.ie and you'll find lots of posts about problems with CPWs' customer service. For example, there's 165 threads about them in the Consumer Issues forum alone, not all are about negative experiences, but most are. A lot of people (including me) end up having to take them to the Small Claims Court to get any satisfaction.

    Type in "company name' are crap" into google and you will find complaints about almost every company around. Unfortunately everyone has bad experiences. Most are misunderstandings and miscommunication, Some don't bother reading T&Cs .Others unfortunately just received poor service, it happens everywhere.

    Absolutely not true, you were obviously dealing with a moron. Try not to make sweeping generalisations given that you have probably only dealt with a fraction of the stores...
