They'd hadn't heard of it in Supervalu in Trim; (so they say!)

None in Tesco Poleberry Waterford but then they no longer carry a wide choice of cereals and often only the small sizes and of course their own brand.

Was surprised to get it in Supervalue of all places.

Never heard of this Fibre 1 before is it new and are they just testing out the market.

For anyone who didn't get their box 'cos they ran out of stock (hardly likely) or had none in the first place, I'd suggest contacting Nestle customer care to say you were disappointed that you went through the effort for nothing. If they're anything like Ben and Jerrys they should have the decency to send out a voucher by way of alleviating the pissed-offness. It's worth a try!

    It is what it's.

    Dear Sir/Madam,

Thank you for your e-mail and interest in our new Fibre1 product. We regret that you did not receive your coupon in time to redeem your Free Box of Fibre1 on Friday 9th March and we would like to send you a replacement coupon which is redeemable until the end of June to get your Free Box of Fibre1. Can you please confirm your postal address with us and we will send this immediately?

All coupons were posted in time to arrive before Free Fibre1 Friday 9th March so we would appreciate if you could let us know when the original coupon does arrive so we can follow up on the late delivery.

Please destroy the original coupon when you do receive it as it is only valid on Friday 9th March and use the replacement coupon which is on its way to you to claim your Free Box of Fibre 1.

Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience and delay and we hope you enjoy our new Fibre1.

    Regards,
    The Fibre1 team

just got an email back from them)
'We have sent you a replacement coupon which is redeemable until the end of June 2012 to get your Free Box of Fibre1 so please try your nearest large supermarket'

I visited 3 stores on 9th March in North Kerry and there was no sign of this stuff, no promotional stands, nothing, and not even gaps on shelves where it might have been.

On 10th March it was everywhere.

I bet that Nestlé were wetting themselves, hoping that not every household in the country got their free box.

Perhaps I should have posted this in the Conspiracy Theories forum?
