One of my central heating radiators has a cold spot about the middle and a power flushing has been suggested as the way to deal with this. Has anyone had this power flushing done on their central heating system?

If it's only one radiator I would try a cleanser first something like Sentinal X400. Leave it in for a week or two then drain completely and refill and put some X100 in.

take off the radiator and run water through it until it runs clear

And then any muck that's in the pipework will make it's way back into the radiator in about 12/24 months and the same thing will happen again.
