is 50 a normal price for these events?
    seems a bit pricey

Note it does include transport of bike and rider back to the start that does increase the costs involved

That's a different event from the usual Harbour Cycle which used to take place at the start of January, but was rescheduled last year due to the icy roads.

You can start at Albert Quay or Cobh, anytime betwen 8:30 and 10:30AM, and the route includes the ferry from Monkstown to Rushbrook.

It's a really enjoyable outing, there's usually a very good vibe.

It's now on the 4th March as the OP mentioned, more details at http://africadirect.ie/cork-harbour-cycle

Presuming I'm thinking of the right event, the January cycle was previously held in aid of Child Aid (about four or five years ago, when I took part one year) IIRC. Does anyone know the rational behind the switch to Africa Direct as a charity? Just curious...
