    hi i bought one of these tyres today for my racer but its too large. the old tyre clearly states the same measurements as this. what could be the problem?

    Is it too large for the rim or mudguards or rubbing on forks or frame.

    OK. Just put it on and inflate it.
    If the rim has a deep centre channel the tyre can be fitted easily but if the tyre beads are the same size as the clincher hooks it will be OK when you inflate it.

    i inflated it earlier and the tube came out? I had the tyre folded in my bag for about 4 hours. Would this of made a difference?

    the thing must be a mountain bike tyre or something...strange

    Unlikely. Does the new tyre look damaged or kinked in any way and does it have any other numbers or markings on it. What specific type of Armadillo did you buy and can you show a link to it if you bought online.
