Sub letting Apartment

    Hi

I rented an apartment this year for a one year term. I was thinking of going travelling this summer so I might sub let the apartment for a small fee since its short term. Do i need permission from the landlord to do this? Is there any legislation which governs this area?

    Cheers

Check your lease - most leases don't permit sub -letting.
