Just wanted to pick you boys brains, I've been offered a 3.0l 2002 trooper 93k miles one owner for 2500 euro, what do you think?

    98 actually.

I would also 2nd the opinion of not touching one. They are a disaster and only getting worse with age as dipsticks try to work on them not knowing what they are doing and not filling them with full syn 5w30

was in the main dealers today and they have a tidy 2000 3.0litre with 130k miles and FSH for sale at €3750,
He says that it was not the 3ltr engine at fault but bad servicing and incorrect oil as they need to be serviced regularly, every 7000 miles and to use only quality fully syn oil.
I not so sure, would only give him €2000 at most for this jeep

If you find one that's been looked after and has had all it's problems sorted, or has had the 3.0 replaced by the 3.1, they're not bad. Unfortunately very few of those around. If going for one I'd recommened a very long test drive.

FYI, if you move to a 'smart' meter electricity plan, you CAN'T move back to a non-smart plan.

You don't have to take a 'smart' meter if you don't want one, opt-out is available.

Buy drinks in 3L or bigger plastic bottles or glass bottles or cartons to avoid the DRS fee.
