    hey folks!

Just wondering if someone could link me on google maps as where to go / park to get some long exposures of planes takeing off and landing.

I like the one at the bottom of this post:

There's a Dublin Airport Spotters thread http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055357904, but some of the maps have been dropped. However there aren't many spots around the airport which would be good for long curved lights photos (stuff in the way or limited views). For these photos, I would recommend the Martello tower in Howth village as that's where planes often turn into the final approach, sometimes with 2 or 3 in shot. Take a look at http://casper.frontier.nl or http://www.flightradar24.com to get an idea of the paths they take. Do this when the winds are prevailing ie. from the west/southwest, unlike today where they're coming from the opposite direction so no landing traffic is going by Howth. Bring your gloves.
