Hi all,

We have an ongoing xpert eleven league for boards members. It's like a football manager game but can be picked up very quickly. We're about to start our third season and are looking to see if a few new managers want to join.

There are 6 teams waiting to be taken over, or if you want you can start with a new team.

To take up a new team go to the 'job centre' page, or you can request a new team. I'll boost all teams up to the average level before the next season starts.

Typically expect to spend maybe 15 mins at the start becoming familar with the site etc. Once the league starts each team plays 2 games every week, and you need only spend about 5 mins twice a week to pick tactics etc for the next match.

We currently have 2 divisions but if we get enough new members we may go with 3 divisions. All the current managers are boardsies and new to the game. We have only played the first two seasons so all the teams are still pretty level.

Hopefully the changes come through tonight. Curiosity is getting the better of me!
I have a 5 bar 19 year old, a product of my youth system, who played a stormer of a season. His form and his development value are at 17! Hopefully a two bar increase is on the way.

Ha it's probably the best thing about the game. 17 though cool, highest I've had is 14

I've a few good young players so hopefully the Change report is good to me.

2 more teams added, now up to 18. I'll wait until Monday to see if we have any more applications then probably start the league. If we can get 21-24 teams I'll do 3 divisions.

The first league game will probably be next Saturday (11th Feb), so will give everyone a chance to get a few friendlies in before the season kicks off.

Change report was last night, I actually had a pretty good one - two double jumps! My star defender retired though and now I find out my veteran midfielder will hang up his boots at the end of this season. Need to try and pick up a decent defender over the next few days, just put in a bid for one so hopefully it goes through...

He went up by 2! He also has the most assists in the league so that's a nice 250,000 econ!

My other defender who was 19 (now 20 with the change) gained an extra skill too so he's up to 7. Also came from my youth system.

And the most surprising. My 28 year old striker went from 9 to 11! :eek:

I had a few reductions too but I'm gonna try and sell some players and really strengthen the squad.

Yeh I've done the cup in a few leagues but it gets boring as it means once you are out of the cup its only 1 league game a week

Sucks for the sides that got promotion, welcome back to Div.1

Some of those newly created sides have a few really good players. How come we don't have direct transfers active?

Direct transfers are only for VIP members though right? Seems a bit unfair on the rest!

As for the leagues, I think smaller divisions are better but I couldn't choose which sides were in which league... I think most new teams are in Div 3 though which seems fair so they have a season to get used to the game.

You've easily got the best squad over the next few seasons. The 20/8 MF you have must be worth a fortune. I'll offer you 200k

Yeah I've been trying to train up young players, hopefully it will pay dividends in the future. In the meantime I'm struggling to turn it into results, got hammered in my last three games and barely stayed up last season!

Yeh my change report wasn't too bad. I'll be starting the new season up at the end of the week so any new players want to play sign up now.

I've had to sell players at about half their value and only if their decent. >300k, anything less and they won't sell.

You should be able to pick up frees, i.e players that are sacked.

I find it impossible to shift players. I put them at their lowest price and hope for the best. More often than not I end up sacking them.
