    Hi,

Having a problem connecting (or even finding wireless networks) on my new Lenovo s205, my old laptop can see and connect no problem.
Everything seems to be in working order on it in terms of the right drivers etc.
Maybe someone with this laptop could advise?

    Thanks

Is the wireless card enabled. Most laptops have a function key to toggle the adapter on/off.

Have that Lenovo myself, got it a few weeks ago. I haven't had problems but there's a switch on the side if I remember correctly that turns on/off wifi I think?

Is it getting no signal whatsoever or just limited signal? I've seen this complaint from a few people who bought it on amazon.

Could also be a router issue in terms of channel selection or something else, not a pro on this sort of thing I'm afraid.

Try bringing it to another wifi spot to see if it can pick up signal if you want to be sure that it's a router issue and not an issue with the laptop

hey, that switch on the side is for bluetooth. I got it going it was just taking its time (10-15 mins to locate a network). It seems to have a very weak network card for detecting,my HP laptop picks up 5 to 6 in range where as the lenovo does not detect any! Wonder are they all like this and is there a way to strengten it through some settings!
