    guess nobody was interested then.

Not overly impressed with the Hawaii recruits. Only 2 3 star recruits and a two former 4 star recruits via Junior College and trasnfer routes.

Guess Chow didnt get in in enough time to affect the recruiting. Its going to be a rebuilding year for us anyway so not a disaster I guess.

FSU as per normal have had a great recruiting class. Long time sonce they turned it into success on the field though.

Houston really capitalised on their great season last year

Three 4 star recruits including an ESPN 150 recruit and another 5 3 stars

Started following it late in the year and mainly looked at Notre Dames recruiting. Seems to be a solid enough recruiting class although lacking some of the highly touted prospects of the recruiting classes of previous years. Brought in some solid depth on the defensive line and also shored up a few other positions with 3 and four star recruits.

Kiel seems a good pick up late on but there was already going to be intense competition for the starting position at quarter back for next year so Kiels addition might just serve to make that decision harder.

National signing day was a bit of a disappointment though, not only did Notre Dame not add another CB recruit where they are very thin after Ronald Darby de-committed but they also lost long time commit Deontay Greenbury who was the highest rated of the three WR's they had committed up to signing day. With Floyd leaving WR was one of the biggest needs and judging by the high praise he was getting it seemed like he would have a good chance of starting as a Freshman. Instead he committed to Houston at the last minute.

However the recruit I'm happiest about is actually Greenbury's cousin, Tee Sheppard, who is a CB. He's widely regarded as one of the top CB's in the country going into college this year and Brian Kelly reckons he's the top CB coming in. And he achieved all of this despite suffering from loss of hearing, heres an interview with him where he come across as a really nice kid if anyones interested:
