    Hi all

I am thinking of going to Egypt (alone) on this group tour:

    http://ie.contiki.com/destinations/europe/tours/102-egypt-the-nile

It would be from April 7th - 14th and I would be able to organise transfers to/from Cairo airport. Given the "problems" there at the moment is this a bad idea??

I'm a little worried especially as I haven't travelled alone much.

    Thanks!

Honestly, I'd hold off for now. There have been reports of tourist buses being used as pawns and after the deaths in Port Said on Wednesday there will probably be widespread protests and unrest for a while.

Given the recent unrest, as the OP said, leave it off.

If you do go, you'll only waste time worrying whether you'll make it through the day.
