Moving from SKY to UPC

I'd like to make the move asap. Just wondering how long it takes to be connected up, as I'd like to cancel SKY and have the UPC running so I'm not without TV. As far as I know there is a deal that if you order through boards you get a voucher for 50e maybe UPCJason is around to confirm details
