There's an article in the Meath Chronicle from yesterday promoting a special 'Fabulous February at Headfort' where anyone can play any course at any time and any day for just €20 per person. Can't be bad, can it.

Super deal. Really like the New course!

Think they had the same deal last year, we played the new course then, and it was a super track, there was 3/4 temp greens in play but still a tough challange.

Given it's only just over 30 minutes from the M50, it's practically in Dublin.

Great Golf Club and good Golf Courses. The New is a peach, the Old less so. Too many trees defining the holes, IMO.

    Does this include the weekend?

Therein lies the difficulty!! How can a parkland be defined as having too many trees defining the holes?

Headfort is a members club and they could really do with the income at the moment, so don't let this great deal pass

Sorry for bumping an old thread, but didn't seem worth starting a new one.

Headfort New has an open singles from the blues on Wed 2nd May, that I'm interested in playing. Anybody know what the course conditions are like at the moment? How are the greens? Will it have been badly affected by the rain? Thanks

I played the Old course on Tuesday last. The course was in super condition. The greens were in really good nick. The drainage is quiet good.
