In the last few weeks and months, we've seen a huge influx of posters coming here to post about research they are doing in the area of LGBT, and looking for people to answer questionnaires. While we all know that there is a dearth of useful research in Ireland on the needs of LGBT individuals and related topics, we need to make sure that the forum doesn't end up getting used as a place for students/ researchers to post a link to their survey and nothing else.

So, if you are doing research in the area of LGBT studies, you are welcome to post in this thread a link to your survey, and a small bit of information about it. Please do not start a new thread in the forum for your research.

However, before you do so, you MUST message a moderator (wonderfulname; or Joeytheparrot) and get permission from them to do so, telling the forum which moderator granted your request. Failure to get a mods permission will result in your post being deleted and an infraction given.

There are also a number of other message boards which you may find it useful to post your research in, including:

    QueerID
    Gaire

    Thanks,

B&C (on behalf of LGBT mods)
