Looking for minimal laptop

    Obviously I'm looking for a laptop and can't seem to find any that fit my criteria. Many seem to be overkill for my needs and the price reflects it.

    Anyway, here's what I'm looking for.
    Budget: <= €350 (€400 at a stretch)

    Intended use: Browsing web, watching movies (DVDs, downloads* and streaming), SSHing

    Screen: 12-14" preferably

    Battery: By far the most important factor, 5+ hours if possible

    Warranty: Not particularly important

    OS: Most likely will throw #! onto it or some other light weight distro

    HDD, RAM, GPU etc.: Aren't really that important.

    *Downloaded movies don't need to be stored for more than the length of a journey so I wouldn't have more than 4 or 5 on it at a time.

    I know many netbooks fit this criteria but I just can't stand the screen size of them, and the keyboards are a pure nuisance. I did find this Meenee which seems to suit my needs but the reviews (on Amazon and elsewhere) would suggest it's very much hit-and-miss on whether it'll last and I've never heard of them before.

    Anyone have any ideas? I think I might have to stretch my budget and buy more than I need.
