What to do, let it be or alert mods? Not gonna say who it is but same person has put up a lot of adverts for different bikes and parts in the past while and doesn't seem to know much about bikes. Very suspect if you ask me..

Fair idea who you are talking about. It was the first thing that entered my head as well reading the posts but think you would need proof first to accuse somebody.

I don't think there's a whole lot that can be done but you should report the post or contact support@adverts.ie

I've deleted a number of posts. There must be no hints as to the ads anyone considers may be dodgy - follow the guidance above and report it to the relevant site and if you think appropriate the hotlines shown.

    Thanks

my experience with the 2 bikes stolen from my house in dublin was that the gardai were not trolling the websites for stolen bikes.

i found my bike advertised on a selling site and reported the ad to the gaurds .

followed up with the gaurds by me contacting the seller, the the gaurds taking over to buy the stolen bike, upon which the lads were arrested.

I guess if you suspect an ad, then report it as suspicious.
