    Hi,

I currently have UPC set up in my house but as I find myself watching the same old repeats I have decided to move to Free view and Saorview TV.

I would like to do the installation myself if it isn't that difficult. my question is whether I will need new cabling or will the existing cabling that is there for UPC do?

I know that I will need a satelite disk but do I also need an arial?

    Thanks.

You need a satellite dish, an LNB and coaxial cable from the LNB to the satellite receiver. That will sort you for freesat.

For Saorview, you will need a UHF TV antenna with associated cabling.

    Mod Comment:

Moved to Terrestial TV for Saorview and Freeview - you might also ask on the Satellite forum if you are loloking for pointers about Freesat.
