Right folks need help. Long story short. A mate of mine installed some software on my mac including aperture. I didnt realise at the time but it was copy which i didnt want. I left it on my mac for a few months with the intentions of buying a proper copy . I recently bought a copy. Deleted the orginal copy and installed the proper copy. It seems to have kept traces of the orginal version.

How can I fully delete all traces of the copied version and install the proper copy?

Automatically, you can use something like CleanMyMac, which pops up to install all traces of an app when it is dragged to the trash. It is a very good program by the way, worth the €15, but of course there are ways of getting these things for free (Ssshh!)

Manually, I suppose you could trawl through all of the folders in your Library folder that store app info and delete the Aperture ones.
