    Hope Someone Can help!.

I have just moved into a new property. Boiler and hot water tank is in the boiler house.

The water to the taps is fine for a period of 20 to 30 seconds and then the pressure reduces very low.

Any Ideas? I Dont want to ring the landlord just yet as I have only moved in. Thanks

Need a bit more info . Is there a pump fitted , is it a preasurised cylinder etc. cant really help you with no knowledge of your system , post a few pics of the cylinder

Well if the cylinder (hot water tank) is in the boiler house. Your system is most likly pressurised.

Your domestic hot and cold is been supplied with pressure from a pump sourse or similar.Usually been fead from a storage tank or well .

If the pressure reduces it is either the expansion vessell or pump.I would hazzard a guess its the expansion vessell.

if post a picture or two and it will be better to help you.

Sorry I Dont Know How To Put Pictures Up.

Its a Bunglow in North Co. Dublin I moved Into Recently. I Am Nearly Sure I Have Well Water. There Is A Hot Water Tank About 6 Feet Tall And Oil Boiler and A big Grey/White oval Shaped Ball. The rest of The Boiler House Is Just Pipe Work with The Usuall Plumbing Bits On it.

Id say that grey white thing is an expansion vessell. if your getting your water supply from a well to fead the domestic supplies.

id say you have a fault with your expansion vessell or dirt in a filter.you will not be able to fix it. so id advice you to call your landlord and get him to send a plumber or relevant trade to repair it.

lets know how you get on.

that was Probabaly the best thing to do. but if you are worried about annoying your landlord probably would have been better to call him during working hours. just a thought.
