    Hi Guys

    I have a G&G M4 with an M90 spring and a 6.03 tight bore barrell.
The AEG fires at 280 with .2g bbs. I would like to increase that to about 310 or so with the .2s and I would want to start using a heavier bb to improve accuracy etc.
I dont really want to change the spring, is there anything else that can be done?

    Cheers for looking.

that seems to be pretty low for a AEG that has had a TBB installed? how old is the AEG. try installing a new hop up rubber, might get it to about 285-290. i used an ultimate hop up and a madbull 6.03 and it pushed it to 1.2J. so had to take all the upgrades out untill i can get a lower spring..

thanks for your input. its about 8 months old, its only been used about 4 times though. it has a guarder soft hop rubber.
could it be a case of the parts needing to loosen up or anything like that?

well my G&G comes in at .98 without any upgrades and like i said it brought it up to 1.2 when i put the barrel and hop up in it, when it was stock what was it firing at? an AEG regardless of make should easily hit 270 if not 280fs without upgrades, but if yours is coming in at 280fps after the barrel was installed I'd question that. now i could be overthinking this and maybe someone, hope for your sake will jump in here saying that i have it all wrong but they're the reading i usually see when a new gun is chrono'd. you could have an air seal problem or parts may simply be worn i know it's only 8 months old but it's the luck of the draw really. you mind me asking where you got it from?

It was built by the guys in QAS. I dont see how anything could be worn on it tbh.

+1 on the silicon, like he said, did you ever try cleaning the barrel? I'm not saying you haven't but a good clean can have a big difference.
@deadpool: you get a QAS custom AEG Ken?

Yeah, I'm happy with the gun overall its very solid. Where are you suggesting I put the silicon? Yep I have cleaned the barrel, maybe I'll remove the barrel and clean it again.
