I bought a Gaggia Brera bean to cup coffee machine. It's due it's first descale. The manual suggests using Gaggia Descaler Decalcifier only.

Anybody know where I can buy it in Dublin? The bricks and morter shop where I bought it doesn't sell it.

The Irish Gaggia web site doesn't seem to sell the same one. It's in liquid form and in a small bottle.

Kenilworth Electrical in Harolds Cross stock that, or they did anyway. There's always www.gaggia.ie too.

    Hi Mad Benny

Slightly off topic, I recently bought a Brera and am noticing that i need to constantly adjust the grind settings between bags of beans. Now I know that is to be somewhat expected but the adjustments on the Brera are only micro but are giving me considerable differences in the amount of time for pulling shots.

I am aiming for a 20 second pull, What beans are you using and do you finds the results consistent

    Thanks

Thanks for that but I don't think there is anything wrong with the machine, I reckon it's more the coffee I am using. Using stuff from hasbean at the mo and the machine is not giving the results it should, but as I said I don't think the machine and coffee are suited

I am using Lavazza Qualita Rossa Coffee Beans. I tried illy Coffee Beans but I preferred the former.

We haven't changed the grind settings and use the "three bean" setting for espressos. The results have been consistent and we're very happy with it so far.

Thanks guys. Are the sachets as good as the liquid Gaggia Descaler Decalcifier?
