Surrounded by firecrews, sitting on a runway? Was this an emergency diversion? Or simply SOP for refuelling? Probably too big to fit on the ramp?

Driving to Dublin later, might divert to have a look.

Standard for refueling if the aircraft is still occupied.

Great photos , what an aircraft.

I must admit to having a little giggle every time photos of foreign military aircraft in Baldonnell make it onto boards - nothing stays secret from boardies for long :D

Just put a few of us Boardies in the Nevada desert, and we'll prove that Area 51 exists once & for all !!!

And we'll even bring the Roswell visitors home for you all to meet, over a cup of tea.

Would a C17 be able to take off from Baldonnel with a full load?
