I assume this is in the context of a vechicle description on an auction vehicle.

All Pwr = all electrics, catch-all for the electric windows etc.

Odometer contradiction = mileage on the clock does not agree with the historical mileages on record for the vehicle (eg from a cartell or motorcheck report). Most likely clocked, but other explanations possible (eg previously incorrectly entered mileage on the database).

Yes Lifer_sean its in the context of a vehicle discription at an auction

Do you know would they allow you to hook in a dianostics into the car to see if it was clocked or what as its a bmw :)

i would assume that because they quoted it in the ad. then yes it is clocked. your plugging in wont alter that description. The only legitimate reason for descrepncy would be documented work on the engine/replacement clocks.

however judging by bmws in this country i wouldnt bother going near it if this was as advertised.

I can't see them letting you do diagnostics on any auction car before purchase.

To be cynical, the main impact that description adder will have is that you will have absolutely no comeback from them if it turns out there is any issue at all re mileage, they have effectively given you a warning.

I'd look at the car, judge what mileage you think is on it yourself, decide at what price this car would be attractive to you, and bid accordingly. So if you look at a car showing 80k, your estimate is it has 120k on it, and you get it for 20% less than you could get a 120k miles car elsewhere, then why not go for it ? If it makes only marginally less than you would pay for a "straight" 80k car, why would you bother ?
