Milrose games live on youtube

    Millrose Games
    The Armory Foundation has announced a multi-year agreement with YouTube Sports to air its track & field season. The highlight will be a live HD production of the 2012 Millrose Games at the Armory beginning at 4 pm Feb. 11, and ending with the famous Wanamaker Mile sponsored by the New York Road Runners at 10 pm.


    Wanamaker mile still holds a special place in the heart of most irish athetlics fans due to to Eamonn Coughlans achievements there....so...looks like a late nite:-)

    Hopefully youtube have worked out the kinks in this one as they showed the New Balance Games two weeks ago and had terrible problems with the stream making it unwatchable in the latter half of the meet

    On an Irish note though a great DMR team from DCU have flown over for this

    Brian Gregan, Mark English, Joe Warne and John Coghlan will compete against the likes of Marcus O Sullivans Villinova team and Ray Treacy's Providence will have a nice Irish influence to the race

    Presumably a collegiate DMR won't be in the "feature section of the meet", would I be right? Does anyone have access to the order of events?

    on at 7.40 so will be covered. The college races area big deal over there as such are part of the main event the non featured stuff is usually the HS races
