Hi There - does anybody know a good intensive up-to-date course that teaches the nuts and bolts of the Internet. Things are moving fast and I feel very behind the curve. I would prefer Part-Time but would consider a Full-Time or even On-line courses

I have a sound working knowledge of Photoshop, Acrobat, Indesign and am teaching myself Dreamweaver.

I would love to learn more about things like Facebook apps, Google Analytics, Internet Advertising, email, Apps, Web Apps, Security....

    Many thanks in advance

Since the scope of your query is all-encompassing I'm going to put this in the general forum.

www.lynda.com is good for all of those but not free.

The for dummies series of books or their like would be what your looking for. Unless you have some sort of profession or task in mind I wouldn't pay to learn, like you say things move fast and I'd worry any course could be a few years behind the curve.

Browse Amazon and see what's out there.

For apps you'll probably want to learn HTML and CSS that will cover the basics of websites, search engine optimisation is a huge category in itself and a full time occupation keeping up with it.
