    Hi,

    Car radio recently stopped working.
The radio channel still comes up but no reception, tried scanning in again
    but didnt work.

Anyone got any ideas what this might be & how much it might cost to repair?

    Thanks

Sounds similar to what happened to mine - bought a Pioneer stereo in Half*ords - turned out previous wiring from a disc changer the old owner had had tripped something. Halfords sorted for free for me.

Pull radio out and check connections in the back.

check the fuse for the radio usaly the first thing to go

... if it was the fuse it wouldn't scan for stations.

If it was the fuse the radio would not power on.

If your radio is model Car 300 --will be written on front face--- then the fault of no reception is a common one and repairable.
