My battery died for some reason. Tried a spare battery from a friend and phone def. works fine and its just the battery. Anyone knows if they offer replacement batteries somewhere in Galway. Checked CPW online but they didn't have much at all. Any other places that may have them? Doesn't need to be original.

I know there are plenty online but kinda addicted to my phone and need a new one quick.

    Thanks.

There's a repair place in the Eyre Square Centre on the upper level as you enter from Corbett Court. They might have them, or they might be able to tell you where to get one.

Check the phone shops that are selling them, they might have one

CPW said they don't have any and they don't think anyone will sell any in Galway. Guess have to order it after all. Will try to give the repair shop a call just in case.

Why not just order one on Ebay, they're dirt cheap

I wouldn't advise ordering one on ebay, it'll more than likely be a fake one that lasts for a fraction of the time the real one does. They're handy in an emergency though. Here's a third party battery with extra capacity that's getting good reviews everywhere I've seen. Might as well give yourself a bit of a power boost while you're going to the trouble of getting a new one :D

    This might be of help.

This appears to be genuine Samsung. Also, you have the might of amazon's excellent customer service to cover you.

Think that's also a fake, the reviews look a bit suspect. It's sold by a third party vendor on the amazon marketplace. Real batteries from the manufacturer are usually pretty pricey. There are some great ones made by different companies, you just have to know which one is best.

might just stump for the offical battery for peace of mind

can a bad battery actually damage my precious s2 or will it just have crap power?
