    Just wondering if it is possible to do a new subject in second year arts, one you had not done in first year. thanks

    I am open to correction, but I don't think you can. Second year is when you pick your major and your minor and it's what you lead on to get your degree with. So I highly doubt they'll let you pick something to which you weren't registered to do in first year.
