Hello. I work in the tax department for my firm. I have passed my FAE exams and I am sitting my final tax exams this year. The thing is, I really don’t like tax. I have asked my firm if it would be possible to get experience in other areas such as audit and it was a non runner. I am wondering is it possible to make a switch from tax to other areas? Is it hard? Would I be seen as a person with no experience and basically starting at the start again.
