    Your study sounds a bit ambitious but I wish you luck it. Might be difficult to find people, fitting each of them category. Now that everywhere has barcodes etc there is no real need for it.

    My feeling would be to use people who have never used a register as a control, as look at people who have been doing it for a year, or more than five. My feeling would be that you would need more than five in each group to derive useful result. However I acknowledge there is an expense in administering and scoring these tests.
