last sunday of the shoot

    met up with 4200fps on sunday morning and set off with my trusty spaniel ben with the heavy rain on sat night we done a few feilds that hold a bird of two normally but that have flash floods on them. all and all gud day the bag consisted of ,

    cock pheasent 2 mallard 3 teal a snipe woodcock and a wigeon along with a red leg partridge that had been released by the local gunclub for shooting and had wondered into open ground

    in that case ive the flu cut on my head from one of those branches that are invisible till you walk into it and a twisted ankle !!:D

    It was an enjoyable day.we said we try get one of each as the season was coming to an end. I spent too much time that season shooting duck rather than hunting for the rest.Trigger PL's dogs did great work for us
