For those that might be interested. Some recent developments with fears of legitimate content being wiped from servers holding Megauplaods files in the Staes and the resulting possible impact on Cloud Computing. Also mentions that owners of legitimate content are getting together to possibly take action against the authorities if they loose their files.

But they need to grind that axe with the Megaload operators and not the authorities. Not the problem of the authorities,

Yes, I can see its going to get messy.

Content owners contract was probably with Megaupload so as you said its probably them they should go after.
    It follows:
And finally Megaupload should file a suit against authorities for loss of the legitimate content because if they didnt' shut Megaupload down and freeze funds Servers would be paid and legitimate content would be intact. ...Messy huh!

That kind in the face of logic. If a business operates illegally then it stands that it may be shut down or prosecuted and this would affect legitimate and genuine customers of that business who get caught up in it. If the business acted outside the law then they are not really standing on firm ground.

However, in this case I'd imagine that there could be opportunity for account holders to remove their content at some point.

Would anybody use megaupload.com for legitimate reasons???
