Access to NUIM Wireless on Iphone.

So when i log into the wireless on my laptop both Chrome and Firefox have saved my username and password and all i have to do is click "log in".

My android used to do the same,
Annoyingly having moved to iPhone after a drunken incident involving brute force trauma and a large screen. My Iphone fails to do this.
I have to type both username and password in every time.
Very irritating (First world problems i know), has anybody had and solved this problem?

Most curious. Might be a cookies option in Settings - Safari?

I've to log in every time on my ipod too. And it remembers passwords perfectly fine for every other site and network. Also, the mail app refuses to work on the college network, but works fine everywhere else. It's not a big deal, I just use webmail through the browser instead, but still. Dunno.

For some reason my Samsung Europa insists that my student number and password are also my username and password on adverts.ie

For the iphone/ipod it might be that you have auto fill on.

Disable it and the log in script should come on ?

One of the proposed projects for MINDS (Computer Society) this year is an app (for android) that automatically detects when you're on NUIM Wifi and posts your login details to the server so you don't have to. If you can convince them to do an iPhone app too you're sorted.
