    Brillant player.

The little fecker knocked us out of the CL with a wonderful strike.

    :(

You could see how much Barcelona struggled without him on Saturday night. As great as Messi and Xavi are, the holy trinity really isn't complete without him. Fantastic player.

He would be the 'main man', in any team outside of Barcelona or Real Madrid.

Probably the player I most like watching now - even ahead of Messi. A real artist.

Class player, I remember he scored a cracking goal for Spain against England a few years ago and hardly anybody knew him, little did I know then that I was watching one of the best midfielders ever.

Di Maria tops the assists table in La Liga this season with 13, pretty impressive.

He is a lot more likable than a lot of the Barca players. I can't ever really remember him diving (like Alves, Busquets, etc) or talking ****e to papers (even though, as an Arsenal fan, I'm probably a bit more sensitive to this than most) like so many of his team mates. He just seems to love football and goes about his business in the right way. Invaluable to both Barca and Spain.

You mustn't have watched any of the last World Cup then. He was flat out at it in the final. Dived for the sending off of Heitinga and then a few more times as well that were more blatant.

Of course he did superbly for the winning goal but had Howard Webb seen the dives and acted on it then he wouldn't have been there to score the goal.

    All ifs and buts.

Great player, but don't think that he's more innocent than the rest of them. He's just better at the diving.

He's by far the most likeable barca player. That's not really saying a lot though...

I love the way he dribbles past people with such little effort. Its like they don't exist the way he's looking up while going past them instead of after.

Possibly the most stylish player going.

Xavi seems like a nice guy.

I'd agree with that, the second video is much better viewing in many ways (not so many jerky replays either)

That goal against Chelsea is one of my alltime favourites. 180+ minutes against a stonewall defence and he almost nonchalantly lifts it into the top corner over a 6ft keeper. One of the most important in recent history under Guardiola. Great wind-up goal too :pac:

The goal against Chelsea was made all the sweeter by the look on Ashley Cole afterwards.

Iniesta is the master of it. Dived and won something in every Final i have seen him play in, thats impressive.
