Not very much about them online. My buddy got a car with these on them recently..anyone know the deal, are they an o.k tyre? Thanks.

Also, can someone remind me, what mark needs to be printed on the tyre to make them legal/ pass NCT, is it a 'ce' mark, or what? Thanks

They are a cheap tyre. As long as you don't need to drive at motorway speed or make any emergency manoeuvres in the wet....or dry, then they will do.

The current markings required for an NCT pass are an 'E' or 'e' mark as well as the standard size/load/speed ratings. It is also a fail advisory if they tyre hasn't got the date of manufacturer stamped on it.

Cheers. It seems odd as the other three tyres are premium ones(only 1 corner has the budget tyre fitted). This is also a large premium car that will be travelling on the motorway a lot...so I'm guessing it will need to be replaced immediately..

Sounds like the normal case of "I'm selling the car, just stick the cheapest thing on it"

That means nothing at all these days. Like assuming that your car will be serviced properly with genuine parts when you go to a main dealer...simply isn't always the case.
