If you have windows then use Microsoft Picture Manager

Go to the Microsoft homepage and search for Image Resizer, its a free tool, so when you right click on your pics you can resize so they upload within seconds, tis a truly great thing!

PixResizer is a handy programme for getting a lot of photos done in one go (probably not worth bothering with if you're only doing one photo though). It's free and simply to use, so it's grand.

Takes a little detail out of the image though (but it's difficult to find one that doesnt, and is free).

I use light image resizer. great tool. integrated into the windows context menu, can do as many photos as you like, save profiles of the size, res etc you want.
