05 Focus Speedometer

When I start the car, the speedometer shows 'test' for ~2 seconds then just goes to 0.0 and never moves, regardless of how many miles I do Done a quick search on Google about it, but couldn't get anything in layman terms about restarting it. Or does it have to get serviced?

It's a long shot, but the trip reset button could be pushed in slightly. When you hold the trip reset button and turn on the igition it does a test of all the dash functions.
