Series link recording repeats

    Is this is a known/common issue? I have my UPC box set to record Skins on E4 on a Monday night (new episodes) and Ive just realised that it has started recording the repeat on E4 tonight. Its the first time Ive seen this happen but I dont really use series link that much.

    Never seen it on my box it looks at the episode number and doesn't record the same one twice.

    Ill keep an eye on it and see if it does it again Sunday. Might be just that program; I dont really use series link normally so its not something I would have noticed previously.

    What happens is the "recording marker" appears on the EPG for a couple of minutes. It doesn't actually record it again, unless the program wasn't fully recorded previously.

    Well, on mine anyway.

    Oh right. I had the recording icon on the front of the box, and when I brought up the mini EPG it was saying it was recording E4, so I just assumed it would record the whole thing. I stopped it about 5 minutes into the show so I dont know if it would have recorded the full hour or not.

    As far as i know, If you watched and deleted the recording, then the box will assume you missed it and record the repeat. Can be a handy feature if someone switches off or unplugs the box before a scheduled recording.
