I had a Peugeot 405 with velour and the seat fabric was a treat. Do any cars today have that type of plush velour?

The only recent ones I have seen were on Alfas and Ghia spec fords (now discontinued).

    Remember Carina II's with it:)

    Rover 45 had them

The late 80s camry had lovely blue velour seats. Everything nowadays is germanic black.

Some have alcantara which does a suede leather look and feel a like especially in half leather seats. Not quite the same though as the plush velour of the 405.
    Did Mercedes ever do velour?

Pretty sure it was in the E36 3Series, Saloon range.

Remember my father having a 95 model.

It was a heavenly joy to sit in.
