MPAA calls the Internet going dark in protest of SOPA "An Abuse of Power"

The Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) has looked at tomorrow’s “Internet blackout” in opposition to the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA)—and are calling it an “abuse of power.”

I would have thought lobbying politicians to bring in a law which is being paid for by major industry "An Abuse of Power"

Thoughts on this statement made by the MPAA anyone ?

Ye - I know SOPA has been going on for a while and we're concentrating on ACTA now but the MPAA statement on the above is new.

it's completely contracdictory to what they're doing themselves.
