Approx €350. I don't know the exact cost of the parts off the top of my head but you shouldn't be looking at any more then that.

€75 for a timing belt kit on eBay anyway. Would labour really be €275?

I wouldn't buy it on less its gates or something similar.ur looking on average for the timing belt kit and pump some where around 150e and about 150e for fitting again I'd have to ring the parts and get an exact price tho but it will be in that region

Very simple setup on these, just belt and tensioner, no water pump or anything like that to worry about. €200-250 supply and fit would cover it depending on where you go.

Is it a job an over enthusiastic, slightly naive DIY'er could take on? :)

If your familiar with what your doing, its easy enough.

Just keep in mind that if you get it wrong you cause severe engine damage.

Never done it before but if it has a simple enough setup, I wouldn't mind giving it a try.
