Used to try my hand at some guitar playing years ago.. I'm looking to buy a nice acoustic that won't cost too much but still has a decent sound. If anyone knows what kind of brands I should looking at i'd appreciate it.

What kind of budget are you thinking? Being honest, you can't really go that wrong with most 300~ guitars. I find the quality in almost all acoustics in this price range to be great.

Yeah i'd say i wouldn't pay upwards of 300 just on the offchance I don't stick with it again. Cheers for the reply I'll have a look around.

Yamaha f310. I have one for years and it is as nice to play and sounds as good as most (most, not all) Martins, Takamines etc. that I've played. €109 from Thomann. Hard case for €50. Few quid for a setup (if it's needed). Sorted. You'll be pleasantly surprised and if you're not, you're not out much.

Sounds like a good one. I'm a bit out of touch with my acoustics...haven't bought one in over 10 years! Only play them in shops really!

One of these days I will...(I always say that...and then something shiny and electric pops up!)
